Lems Shoes is a brand dedicated to creating footwear that mimics the natural shape of the human foot. With a focus on foot health and biomechanics, Lems Shoes provides a minimalist design that allows your feet to move naturally, fostering strength and flexibility, while still providing protection and support for the foot. Lems shoes are zero drop shoes. Zero-drop refers to the angle between your heel and your toes. Traditional footwear elevates the heel an average of 14-24 mm (0.5″-1.0″), which alters foot forces and an unnatural heel strike. In a zero-drop shoe, your heel and toes are level, which mimics your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Lems believes that shoes should be built around the natural shape of the human foot, and not the other way around. This means that a shoe should be widest at the forefoot and toes, while allowing for full flexibility and unrestricted movement.
