Dr. Mike Budjak

Dr. Mike Budjak is from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and attended the University of Alberta where he majored in Kinesiology with a focus in Sports Performance. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology, he moved to Davenport, Iowa to receive his Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic. This is where he met his wife Gina, who is also a chiropractor.

Dr. Budjak is board-certified in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of Wisconsin. Beyond his Palmer education, Dr. Budjak is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) A-D, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and regularly practices Active Release Technique (ART).

When treating patients, Dr. Budjak has a firm foundation in a patient-centered, evidence-informed model of care that has roots in the Biopsychosocial approach to treatment. Meeting the patients where they are at physically, mentally, and/or emotionally is at the heart of Dr. Budjak’s treatment to ensure each and every patient has been heard and their concerns validated.

When receiving treatment from Dr. Budjak, one can expect to hear “dad joke” level humor as well as phrases like “Movement is Medicine” and “Motion is Lotion”. Dr. Budjak believes our bodies are meant to move. He aims to get all his patients to do so in a safe manner, improving their quality of life to attain any goals they set for themselves and their loved ones for the future.

You can find Dr. Budjak enjoying his free time with his wife while attending church, reading, golfing, or spending time outdoors! Due to his Canadian heritage, Dr. Budjak is heavily invested into the National Hockey League (NHL) and has a general love for cold weather and snow!
